Takeo is very close to Phnom Penh, which is about 78km drive. I’ve been here so many times, but never had taken a single photo of these abandoned colonial-period buildings.
I’ve to parked my car and walking around the area, from block to block, and found many interesting things. People over there were very friendly, a lady even asked me to photograph her child that was sleeping in a hammock in her vegetable stall.
It’s sad that some of those building were abandoned and torn apart, you could see bricks exposed from the walls as cement falloff, some building were in very bad condition, no wall, no roof, such and such.
